Rabigh Housing RBGH 110/13.8 kV Substation – Major Equipment and Works

The Rabigh Housing RBGH 110/13.8 kV Substation will consist of the following major equipment and associated works:

• 2 × 50/67 MVA 110/13.8 kV Power Transformers
• 10 × 110 kV GIS Breakers
• 28 × 13.8 kV Breakers
• 1 Lot Solid Insulated Bus Duct (SIS) System
• 2 × 13.8/0.4 kV 750 kVA Auxiliary Transformers
• 2 × 13.8 kV 7 MVAR Shunt Capacitor Banks
• 2 × Neutral Grounding Resistors (NGR)

The project also includes the installation of a complete Substation Automation System (SAS), Telecommunication System, and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System.

• Protection System bay protection panels and busbar protection panels
• Communication System
• AC and DC Systems
• Lighting System
• Grounding and Shielding Systems
• HVAC System
• Plumbing System

Civil, Structural, and Mechanical Works

The project also includes all civil, steel structural, and mechanical works required for the complete substation setup.

Remote End – Rabigh City 2 Substation

The extension works at the Rabigh City 2 Substation include:

• 2 × 110 kV Bays
• Modifications to the Control System, Metering System, Protection System, Annunciation System, SCADA System, and Communication System
• Civil works required for the modification of the infrastructure at Rabigh City 2 Substation
