KSP Project

The KSP Project includes two phases: Phase 1 covers the installation of two 132kV UG cable circuits (5 km) linking SS 8387 to SS 8164 & 8219. Phase 2 includes eight circuits (27 km) connecting multiple new substations within KSP, utilizing XLPE cables and fiber optics.

KSP Project

Project Overview

The KSP Project comprises two phases focused on the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 132kV underground cables. The project aims to enhance the power transmission infrastructure within the KSP area by interconnecting key substations.

Phase 1
  • Scope: Design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 132kV underground cables (2 circuits)
  • Route Length: 5 km (2.6 km + 2.4 km)
  • Components:
    • XLPE 1x1200mm² power cable
    • Insulated joints
    • GIS/SF6 terminations
    • 96-core fiber optic cable
    • All related accessories
  • Location: Between the new SS 8387 inside KSP and existing substations 8164 and 8219
Phase 2
  • Scope: Design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 132kV underground cables (8 circuits)
  • Route Length: 27 km
  • Components:
    • XLPE 1x1200mm² power cable
    • Insulated joints
    • GIS/SF6 terminations
    • 96-core fiber optic cable
    • All related accessories
  • Location: Between the new substations 8387, 8388, 8389, 8390, and 9083 within KSP
